Qbit is an AI-powered Career Intelligence Engine. It analyzes your daily work activities, detects your transferable skills, calculates your readiness score for different career roles, identifies skill gaps, and gives you a personalized roadmap to reach your target role.
Qbit is built for professionals exploring career transitions — especially career switchers who want clarity on where they stand and what they need to learn. It also works well for fresh graduates, content creators, bloggers, and anyone trying to understand the market value of their current skills.
Yes — the core career readiness analysis, skill detection, gap analysis, and portfolio page are completely free. You can also unlock the PDF report by referring just one friend.
How is Qbit different from LinkedIn or Coursera?
▾
LinkedIn shows what you've done — Qbit tells you what you're ready for next. Coursera sells courses — Qbit tells you which 2–3 skills to learn first. No other platform combines skill detection, role readiness scoring, gap analysis, and a personalized roadmap in one 30-second flow with no resume required.
How does Qbit calculate my career readiness score?
▾
Qbit uses AI (powered by Google Gemini) to extract skills from your work description. It then compares those skills against the required skill set for 30 professional roles. Your score is calculated as: Matched Skills ÷ Required Skills × 100. The score improves as you learn new skills and re-run the analysis.
Do I need to upload my resume?
▾
No — just describe your daily work activities in plain English. Resume upload is optional and only used to extract additional skill context. The more detail you provide in your description, the more accurate your score will be.
How accurate is the score?
▾
The score is a strong indicator of skill alignment, not a guarantee of job readiness. It gets more accurate as you provide more detail about your work. Qbit does not conduct live skill tests — the score is based on self-reported work activities analyzed by AI. We're building a skill assessment module that will make scores even more precise.
Can I recheck my score after learning new skills?
▾
Absolutely — that's one of the most powerful ways to use Qbit. Update your work description to reflect your new skills and run the analysis again. You'll see exactly how your score improved and which gaps you've closed. Premium users get a 3-month score history chart to visualize their progress.
What is the Career Portfolio page?
▾
After your analysis, Qbit generates a public career portfolio page with your score, detected skills, career path, salary insight, and any projects or certificates you add. You get a shareable URL and a QR code — perfect for sharing with recruiters or posting on LinkedIn. You can also download it as a PDF report.
Why does Qbit ask for my email?
▾
Your email is used to send your welcome message, career roadmap, and occasional feature updates. It also lets you return to Qbit and track your score history over time. We never sell your email to third parties.
Does Qbit store my resume?
▾
No. If you upload a resume, it is read temporarily in your browser to extract skill information and is never sent to our servers or stored anywhere. Only your email, detected skills, and score are recorded.
What data does Qbit store?
▾
We store your email address, the skills detected from your description, your readiness score, your target role, and your analysis timestamp. This data is used to improve Qbit's skill detection accuracy and send you relevant career updates. See our
Privacy Policy for full details.
Which AI does Qbit use?
▾
Qbit uses Google Gemini (gemini-1.5-flash) for skill extraction, career score explanation, roadmap generation, and AI mentor responses. Your work description is sent to Gemini's API for processing and is subject to Google's data handling policies.
How does the referral program work?
▾
After your analysis, you get a personal referral link on your dashboard. Share it with friends — when they sign up and complete their analysis, your referral count increases. 1 referral unlocks your PDF report. 3 referrals unlocks 3-month score history. 5 referrals earns you 1 month of Qbit Premium free. Every additional 5 referrals = 1 more free month.
What does Qbit Premium include?
▾
Premium includes: unlimited AI mentor questions, 3-month score history chart, instant PDF reports, Gold/Diamond scorecard tiers always available, mock interview sessions, weekly progress emails, and early access to new features like recruiter profile visibility. Pricing will be announced soon.
